Will it ever be as good as the original, or is it another of those sh*te sequels

Corey Feldman is the main star, with Corey Haim only getting a small cameo at the end, and Angus Sutherland stepping into his brothers shoes

Might be ok on its own but its got so much to live up to. It feels like a step up from a fan made sequel and the fact its going straight to DVD doesnt bode well, but I am hoping to be surprised.

There may be a Ghostbusters 3 at some point as well, Bill Murray is more amenable to the idea than he was (he was the one that said no) and the new game might create a buzz, plus most of the original cast are doing the voices for the game.

Just watching the first one again after seeing the sequel.
I thought it was OK, Sex machine from Dusk till Dawn was in i, so its a from me.
Also a few subtle references to the first. Worth watching IMO.

mmmm i don't know i mean the lost boys was like from the like the 80's..i think now sometimes when they bring out a part 2 to a film.All the new technology and special effects sometimes spoils it..I think some things are best left as they were..I hear theres Top Gun 2 coming out also...

Soundtrack helped as well with the original. So if the new one does not have a good soundtrack it's gonna fail anyway. A lot to live upto IMO.

As mentioned, I think it does well, especially with the time difference between the two being 22 odd years.
