Not the best choice of name...?
From Wikipedia...
Ares - Though often referred to as the Olympian god of warfare, he is more accurately the god of savage warfare, bloodlust, or slaughter personified.
Perhaps not the most appropriate choice of name for the replacement for the space shuttle then?
Or is there an ulterior motive? Had Dubya been watching Moonraker?
Mind you, that does mean that it's only a matter of time before there's an amusing typo in some news article on it
