Tsivili,Zante
#2
Me and eight mates went to Laganas, Zante(Zakinthos) back in 1998.
I rate the two weeks we spent there as one of the best times of my life. Not that we saw much - it was just sun, sea, sand, booze and of course girls
I was 21, single and loaded. If you're going with your g/f or family I might consider somewhere else.

Laganas is a short trip away and is party central but Tsivili is a completely different place. Bit quieter and chilled, still a nice place to visit IMO.

Ideal place for the family.... Actually there is a Mcdonalds there,it does look odd on the high street.
Places to eat are cheap and so is the beer.Zante town is only a £5 taxi ride away too...
Not sure if your interested, but there's a maritime museum,an excellent pottery and ceramic wear place just out of Tsilivi too.
There is an excellent Crepe place that is run by an Aussie woman, its called sweethearts or something similar..Very nice.
The boat ride around the island is a must..Taking in smugglers cove, blue caves and turtle beach... Awesome day out for a £10'er or so..
