Default Yell.com

Who advertises with yell.com and does it get you anymore business than normall yellow pages ???? I have had yell trying to get me to take an ad ?? The usual sales crap and they have told me if I advertise with them I will be one of the only advertiserers on the 1st search page that anyone ever looks at....... due to the time I have been with them ??? Has anyone else been promised 1st page status to only be shoved pages down and have to complain ?????

The price isn't much ?? but it IS!!!!! if its useless ??? Its £180 for the year

I can't answer your question directly, but as a consumer I haven't seen a 'real' yellow pages for years around my house. If I want to find something I either just search or go off to yell.com.

The only number I get from Yell that I use os for the local Indian takeaway - but now I just order online via fillmybelly.com

If I search Yell for anything else, it's so I can find the address and website.

yell.com is too annoying to use - search is rubbish and it doesn't display what you're after very well - as above, Google is always the answer.....

Its a sign of the times, people don't tend to use the Yellow Pages anymore.

My business was in 4 books up until a year ago. Cancelled them all and spent roughly the same amount of money with yell.com.

Its hard to tell if there's a difference in revenue generated between the two, not too many people say they've got your number from yell / yellow pages.

All IMHO of course

its all about "test and measure"

i did, and it told me that yellow pages = people sitting around in lunch breaks, wasting peoples time, trying to find out who is the cheapest
