I can't see any team other than Arsenal or Man U. taking the title.

Arsenal have been the most consistent team so far (albeit not at the level that Liverpool and Man U. have played at at times), but when Man U. play well, they are unstoppable.

If Man U. make more silly mistakes - Arsenal will take the title, but it will be close. If Man U. stop making mistakes (like signing old French defenders!), they'll walk it relatively comfortably, probably tying the title up at home to Arsenal.

4 in a row would be fine by me

Glad the run-in is closer that it has been for the last few seasons, but no-one has shown true championship winning style over more than one or two games - yet. If Leeds and Arsenal don't sort out the number of cards they're getting, it could ruin the run-in . I'm disappointed that a large number of premiership players seem to have their minds more focused on Japan in July than whoever they happen to be playing in the coming weeks/months.

Leeds arent stuttering they are just **** and have been all season, the most grossly overated team ive seen this season, Southampton have shown more flare going forward.

Time for O'leary to come up with the goods £100m later and still no trophies and lets face it he is being shat on by people like Bowyer, the players obviously have little respect for the man.

Which translates onto the pitch, what did he see in Seth Johnson for £7m he looked very ordinary, never been convinced by Viduka, shows his talent about 4 times a year not consistant enough, time for Kelly to go as well, and your best player you leave on the bench!! Harry Kewell, top player.....

No disrespect

Father Mike for President

Newcastle to win the Premiership by a single point, and go on to win the FA Cup (they'll beat Arsenal on the way)

Cool

I think we (NUFC) might just sneak it. Its wierd though. I think Man Utds current team are better than their team of 93/94 , and that ours perhaps isn't as good as it was back then, and despite Arsenal looking good too, I can see us doing it as long as the confidence stays high.

(btw Geordie fans, heard on the grapevine that Jermaine Jenas should be signing for us next week, beleive me, this kid is good!!!)

Let's hope so - I really do miss the derbies.
I'm not convinced by KK though. Entertaining football yes but big prizes, not so sure. Do you think City can stay in the Premier League with the current squad? Pearce won't hack it, Goater has struggled in the Prem. Granted you have some better players than last time but what do you think?

Dave/Funkii Munkii,

Oh dear.... doesn't seem like you have a clue !!!

You don't finish in the top 4 in the last 4 years if you are cr4p !!!

Bowyer...class !!
Johnson... Not long b4 we see him in an England shirt !!
Viduka...class !!
Kelly....class !! (though not as good as he once was..)
Kewell...if he was English (which he is partly) he'd walk into the
England team for the next 7/8 yrs !!

This said.. I thought that they were awful the other night against Chelsea, but they will bounce back !!

Kewell is not fully match fit... hence being on the bench alot !

We may be 'stuttering' at the mo but we will be there or there abouts come May !!

How many goals have we conceded ? How many games have we lost ?

See you in the champions league !!

Su-per..super Leeds !! Su-per su-per Leeds etc..

John

If Dacourt is fit we will be much better off as Bowyer (outstanding as he is) appears to be a bit off the boil at the mo, and needs a bit more help in midfield, depth wise the return of Bakke to give David 'Cant comprehend shooting' Batty a rest will help no end + the return of the fabulous Mr Kewell should help us score more which has been our problem. However I feel that we've dropped too many points to challenge for the title which makes Sundays game vital. But then again if we beet liverpool and Man U....... things will hot up!

Just my opinion as i said no disrespect

you answer nearly all my points eloquently
Apart from the fact that after £100m, they still dont have a pot to p1ss in

Do you really think Viduka does it week in week out?? "viduka class" he just doesnt do it like Hentry/Hasselbaink/van Nistelrooy/Owen (even with rotation and a crap longball tactics owen still does it)

What with the abundance of good young midfielders England has at the moment I think Seth will struggle to achieve an England place.

Bowyer i never doubted his class just his attitude to Leeds / o'Leary (The Irish Wenger ) and the supporters, after all the club did for him during the court case he refuses to pay a fine and wants to leave, how stupid was that, I know its yesterdays news but just another small part of the leeds machine failing, add up all these small failures and I believe thats why they are "stuttering" and dont look like challenging for major honours.

No doubt you will qualify for the Champions league again but shouldnt you be looking futher than that??
