I did a while back.
Was a bit of a fad for me tbh. I had a few kites, harness, board ect. I bought a lot of them off Flexiforums then subsequently sold most of the kit there again for what I paid for it and more in some cases.
I stay inland and as such the wind was a bit 'lumpy' so some of my kites were a little interesting
I've kept a 3m 4 line on a bar for the occasional bit of fun.
Cheers
Paul.

Sorry for slow reply, been away for 5 days with bf and friends camping. My fella has been buggying now for about 12 months and is really into it. Just wondered if anyone else was into it on here. Maybe see some of you at 1 of the meets 1 day.

I've fancied trying kitesurfing for a while now, I enjoy trying allsorts and seems a good way to get the adrenaline flowing. There's a place just up the coast that does either one day or three day tasters/beginners course so am tempted when I get the time.

Does get dangerous at times. Took a kite out in too high winds, dropped me from about 30ft and couldnt walk for a week and a half.
Bloody good fun though, escpecially the Buggy racing which I mentioned earlier.

It always makes me laugh when people take the mick out of it before they know what it's all about or have tried it. Quite a few of the fliers are quite big blokes and they are getting ripped around by a piece of material, it's mad! People under-estimate the power of nature and the buzz it gives you.
