Cyclists and roundabouts?
What is THE correct way for a cyclist to go round a roundabout?
As far as im aware, the cyclist should go round the edge of the roundabout regardless of the desired turnoff?
Or should they use them cycle paths that take you across each turn off and back onto the main road?

Theres a big roundabout on my way to work that has those small cycle paths between each turnoff.
I always use the paths to avoid being flattened by blind motorists (particularly foreign lorry drivers and taxis). Only ones I see going right round the outside are lycra clad tour de france lookalikes.
As far as i'm aware thats exactly what the paths are for

no worries
just that i went round a roundabout today on the outside (no cycle lane)
good job i kept looking behind me most of the time as i had to brake to avoid being completely taken out and probably dieing!
btw im not a cyclist, i just got bored and went for a bike about
