Bosnia Herzegovena rocked! Crazy-looking fella and a woman who looked like Cleo Roccos. Singing machine gun pop whilst four brides knit jumpers in the background. And a washing line. Certainly ticks all the boxes for me.

At least more of the entrants now have the courtesy to sing in English. In fact I don't think they should allow non-English songs

"Chod" is a new word for me. I prefer the more subtle "load of ****" (as it has been for 50 years). dl

I've often wondered that too....how can you have a national song entered into Eurovision if its not song in your native tongue. Only one thing for it, disqualify all those entrants that were not in their mother tongue

We'd still be last though We really should just not bother to enter. I think its Germany that has also adopted that position too?

I would have helped the Ukraine bird to get the funds to compete.
Aparantly she raised the funds from busking on street corners.

We usually watch it to enjoy Wogan's witty comments as much as anything. This year he has been restricted by the complaints of the organiser but we were still enjoying listening to him. There were only about 4 songs worth watching and the voting was so biased it was difficult to believe. His forecasts were pretty well all correct. Not surprised he said it was the last time as far as he was concerned. He let out a few more choice comments at the end since I think he has given up on it.

Since we were equal last with one of the more reasonable songs which was well performed, I think we should kick it into touch too.

Germany and the UK seem to come outside the top 20 ever since those former soviet states joined th EU. I guess those soviet countries are still bitter from when Hitler rustled up a tune and came marching in singing with all guns blazing

Well I was forced into turning it off after the last song in order to save my relationship I guess from the comments above that we didn't fare too well? There's a surprise

Chod is a new word to me but I like it and find it very appropriate for that biased pile of steaming poo masquerading as a competition
