China quake, how many corrupt officials/crime family constructors will swing?
Having seen a town, close to the epicentre of the quake, in which the only building to collapse was the school (killing 200 children), how many corrupt local government officials and bosses of the dodgy building companies 'should pay the ultimate price'? The school was completely flattened while the local government offices, suitably smart and modern, didn't have a broken window 
The same scenario has undoubtedly been played out in countless other cities, towns and villages.
China has been quick to execute those without a voice/public standing. Lets see them do it to 'important/influential people!

China have executed important people to make examples. Last year they executed a very high ranking person after poison had made it into toothpaste and baby food, causing lots of deaths.
They certainly don't shy away from executing people just because they are important!

The Chinese Government have little respect for their own IMO.
Making a scapcoat out of the builders is the easy way for the Government to keep face.
The Chinese government have kicked people out of their homes so they can bulldose land to create Olympic venues. Not re-homeing them either.
Poor pay, poor working conditions, poor living conditions.
