After promising myself for years I will definitely be going to the FOS this July. I will probably do the Friday & Saturday and am in the process of deciding whether to get a hotel nearby or camp using the new camp site facilities.

How good are the grandstands and which are the best? Are they the only choice for getting a good view or can the same be obtained with the general admission tickets?

I was thinking of doing one day on each, the Friday probably being the general admin due to travel time etc.

Has any got any useful tips/advice and finally is anyone else going down? We could all meet up and tell stories round the camp fire
