lucky someone had a camera. can you just imagine how the owner would have felt if he had come back to find the car in that state....do you really think they would have owned up?

The bloke operating the lift got really pissed off with me when I took his picture, and looked like he was going to cry when someone walked up and thanked him for the entertainment.

Thankfully not living in London anymore and not knowing much about all this, will TFL actually be liable for the damage? Or do they have some form of disclaimer which states that if they screw your car up whilst enforcing blah blah blah, then tough sh*t?

*****... you see this behaviour on the TV with those baliff progs... nothing pleases them more than lifting a nice car.
The same goes for traffic wardens, they love ticketing and lifting nice cars. Go down london and you'll see Wardens walking past illegally parked repomobiles to stick a ticket on the Merc/BM/Audi/nice sports car first.
