I used one from the autotrader a while back. It might be the same one. But the 3 quid just gave basic info, colour engine size etc. They said its another 3 quid for details on accident damage, hpi etc. I didn't see anything on the link to suggest its the same. So you might get the whole lot for 3 quid.

Depends where you are buying if from and for how much. If the car was costing me £200, then maybe. If I was spending a few grand I would do a proper HPI check (or get the trader to do one for me seeing as its a subscription thing forn them and they dont pay for individual checks)
