Default Back button

Has anyone noticed that in order to return to NSR from a thread you have to press back twice.

If I hover over the back button I get http://pagead2.googlesyndication.....
If I press back and then hover I then get "back to NSR"

Not for me it doesn't, when I hover over it it just says 'go back one page' when I click it it goes straight back to NSR.

Dont have that trouble sir. I use one of my quick link buttons on the mouse and it takes me straight back but trying it the old fashioned way I still go back straight away.

Also the other way around it is open multiple threads using the middle mouse button and just closing each as you go along the threads

I have exactly the same problems with IE6, back space doesn`t even work sometimes and the adverts in between posts don`t load up which is no bad thing. Everything is ok in firefox.

I wonder if it's rigged so every click back is a revenue earner on Googles adverts.

I have to click back twice as well. It only started doing it a week or so ago and I thought it was me.

Leave NSR open and just open threads in a new window. In Firefox or Apple Safari (new v3.1 is very good, even for PeeCee BTW) open threads in new tabs. Quicker for you, less bandwidth for both you and SNet as you don't keep reloading pages.

Cool

I get the same problem. First time I press back, there is a banner ad that was displayed as "No page dispplayed" goes white, then if I press again it goes back to the previous topic list, whatever forum I am in.

At times I have to click about 3 times before the page goes back.
All was ok up to a month or so ago.
