quick one for the runner's out there
Hello all
i've just recently started running and shockingly enough im getting into more than i had expected, my question to you lot is about watches, im after a cheapo digital watch that you can set multiple alarms on to go off say every 5-10mins, has anyone got any recommendations (or a clue about what im on about lol)
not fussed about style/looks, just want something that works.
Cheers for looking.

I've got a timex ironman, cost about £20 in argos. It has a countdown timer which alrams every time it gets to zero from whatever you've set and automatically starts counting again. It also has a lap timer and can store up to 10 laps, screwed me up when I tried to get every mile time for my last half marathon.
If you want a virtual partner or something more fancy look at the Garmin Forerunner range. The Forerunner 101's start from about £50 on ebay and a mate fo mine has one, bit big and chunky, but for the price it does a good job. They aren't much cheaper in the states, I checked when I was last over there and by time you add sales tax you might save a quid or two.
