They are hiding in Ice Cream Vans now!
Thought that stuff in the press today with speed cams hiding in horseboxes was bad enough but just spotted this on the local rag's website :
I scream at such flakey behaviour
. They might fill their cashbox chock a block with lolly, but they will confuse kids and further alienate the public. Next thing they'll be coning off roads and policing it with Magnums at the ready - just to make sure we dont come to any harm this winter in case the road is icy!

I think that the icecream scamera van is a FAB idea
And now i hear they are hiding them in vans, stickered up with Camera Safety Partnership' written on them, what will they think of next!

actually it is very clever, because the plod in the top of the ice cream van is just a cardboard cutout. The actual camera is hidden in the post box just next to him.
well, they may as well use the post boxes for something, as they are bloody useless for mail etc

99 will get you banned, unless you're on a motorway or other dual carriageway with a 70mph limit, then you may get a fixed penalty, but be prepared for anything +20 over the limit to go to court for a heftier fine and more points
