Hi Steve, it has been removed until the possibility of any legal threats to the media have passed.
We're being very cautious I know but it can always be reinstated at a later date. As long as any subsequent threads are very carefully worded I see no reason why the subject cannot still be discussed here
Sorry to be a killjoy but better safe than sorry!

I understand that but it has been stated elsewhere that he is potentially suing them for breach of privacy, not for libel which does imply that he did indeed carry out the events, and he hasnt denied it
Also Bernie has backed him up saying that he must have been setup but what he does in private is his own business, so Bernie isnt denying it either
Now Max is usually the first person to start legal proceedings for libel etc but he hasnt on this one
This from planet-f1 (if it isn't allowed then fair comment )
FIA distance themselves from Mosley controversy
Monday 31st March 2008
The FIA has refused to comment after its president Max Mosley was allegedly exposed in a Sunday newspaper enjoying - if that is the right word - a "****-styled" sex game.
The News of the World published video stills of a man that it claimed was FIA President Mosley, alleging that he was pretending to be a **** concentration camp commandant punishing girls dressed as camp inmates. We'll leave the rest to your imagination.
The FIA have been quick to distance themselves from the controversy now surrounding their president.
"As far as the FIA is concerned, this is a matter between Mr Mosley and the newspaper. The FIA has no comment," a spokesperson said.
He added that Mosley's lawyers had already been "in touch" with the newspaper.
Meanwhile, F1 supremo Bernie Ecclestone has defended Mosley. He told the Daily Mail: "I find it difficult to believe.
"It's his business but it sounds to me like a set-up. Has he in any way damaged F1? No."
The newspaper story, though, has angered many with former F1 World Champion Sir Stirling Moss, who had a Jewish father, calling for Mosley to step down immediately.
"I don't see how he can continue. I hope he can, frankly, because I think he's very good at what he does," he told the Times.
"I suppose what goes on behind closed doors is his business, but when a thing comes out like this... it's an absolute shocker."
Holocaust Centre Director Stephen Smith also feels Mosley should reliquish his position with the FIA immediately.
"As Mr Mosley has condemned the racism in motor sport, he should live up to the standards he sets," Smith said.
"This is an insult to millions of victims, survivors and their families. He should apologise. He should resign from the sport."

News of the World website still has the full story and the video, so I doubt there's much too worry about.
In fact, it would be a bit strange if Max's people went round trying to shut down every car enthusiasts website's! They've all got a thread regarding this after all...

Better to be safe than sorry though surely for the sake of one thread? Let's talk about it but in a less salacious manner.

The thing I dont get is surely if I took a girl home, filmed us having sex and then sold the footage I would be breaking the law but news of the world seems to get away with these kind of antics over and over again. They filmed some model taking her clothes off for money in a private flat a little while ago and published the video online.

Can't see how he can wriggle out of this one. Rich and powerful though Max might be, he's up against News Corp - the world's biggest media outfit. News OT World, The Sun, The Times, The Sunday Times, not to mention the huge multi-mdeia network owned by Rupert Murdock worldwide - hundreds of them including the New York Post and Wall Street Journal.
Their legal position will be tight as a duck's ****

I imagine their defence would be 'public interest'. Also I don't think they give 2 hoots about being sued for 'invasion of privacy' when you consider the size of this story and the implications regarding max's ongiong court action against newscorp.

Regardless of the legal outcome of all this millions of motorsport fans around the world will still have seen the video and dear old Mad Max will never be able to live that down

Does Max Mosley frequent Subaru related websites ?
I would think not, he is to busy ******** ****** dressed as Herr Flick
ALLEDGEDLY !!!!!
He can take me to court if he wants, I will even do my own defence as a video of you ******** ****** is pretty good evidence that you have been ******** ****** and I would STFU if I had been caught red handed (or buttocked in this case) and not try to sue everyone when it is obvious to anyone with an internet connection that you have been a busy boy.
I would just say, I am 67, mega rich and have been president of the FIA for a long time, I have been caught and might as well bow out gracefully and even attempt a little bit of a self mockery, perhaps say I am retiring to pursue "Other Interests", this way, everyone just laughs at you, a good example is how George Michael behaved when he was caught doing stuff in public toilets, he just took the p1ss out of himself in one of his video's and his profile was restored as he showed a sense of humour and acknowledged his mistake.

Max Mosley's father was a Blackshirt - a **** supporter who would gladly have seen Hitler rule Britain.
The fact that Max, through his recent alleged behaviour with prostitutes, appears to be a throwback to his ****-loving father is cause for very serious concern to any right-minded person and brings Formula 1 into disrepute.
Contrary to what others may say, I do not believe Max Mosley has been good for the sport, far from it in fact, and if his alleged behaviour is confirmed then he should resign or be sacked immediately.
