Birdsong: how many do you recognise?

Birdsong: how many do you recognise?
Watched David Attenborough's "Life of Birds" last night when he was talking about birdsong.
Now I love the sound of birdsong, and have 4 CD's of it which I listen to through the winter, and which make me less depressed.
So I was quite surprised to find that my wife can't even recognise the commonest birdsong like the blackbird.
So: what do others recognise, or do you have no interest at all?

Whats the one that goes
"ACK ACK ACK ACK ACK ACK"
At 4am every morning in the tree outside my window, not sure what the actual bird is called in the observers book of Birds but in my house its know as a "Noisy C*nt", and are they protected ?
The Owl is pretty good, it hoots and you hoot back, it answers, though of course it might just be two of the neighbours havign an afair.
