I've always been a fan of Treminator films - well, the first two - so I've been following the TV series on Virgin1. Have to say I'm really enjoying it.
Just watched last Thursday's episode and the bit where John had to remove the key from around the neck of the Terminator (who was on "standby") was pretty tense.

Anyone else watching?

Why? We already know nothing will happen to him! But yes, it's not bad. I'd love to have been at the casting session for those three drunken idiots at the end of the first episode: "Yea, we'd like you to just stand there, then this skinny naked chick will kick the bejeezus out of you."

That said Summer Glau does a good job.

Hmmm, we don't really know for sure the ending. Well, we do, as its Hollywood and in the end man kind will prevail, I've yet to see a show like that where it ends with no hope and us all dead.

The series revolves around the fact that the future is uncertain, and that John can die and then not be the resistance leader he is meant to become. Not to mention that even if he is the resistance leader, there is no guarantee of the resistance's success.

Yes, she is nice. She also stars in The Parole Officer. Apparently that is the one where she allegedly wears a police uniform. I cannot be sure of that of course, especially since the tape has worn out

Watched all of the first series, very good actually, fills in a lot of details about Skynet, the Terminators and the story around John Conner, looking forward to season 2

Isn't christian bale and daniel day lewis rumoured to star in t4.

I quite like the series, very disjointed to begin with but im liking where it's going, much more action than i expected which is great, cg needs improving on the terminators though.

I hope it keeps going, i heard a rumour it was being axed but luckily that's all it seemed to be.

The ending of the series was somewhat annoying, no real resolution, Crowmartie is still out there despite slaughtering the FBI strike force, and no idea if River Cameron survived that car bomb.

Hope they get to make a second series or a film or something as that was worse than a Stargate series finale.
