Short FTSE ETF

I know its a long shot but does anybody know if there is a short UK FTSE etf on the market?

why bother? just open a spreadbetting account with someone like cmc or IG and place a down bet on the FTSE

Well obviously only you will know exactly what sort of ETF you want, but there is a list of providers here

Hi, didn't want to get involved in spread betting if at all possible. ETFs seem a simple and cheap tool.

Pete, in that list there is no short FTSE ETF. Elsewhere I have found a short EURO STOXX ETF and short SP500 but no short FTSE ETF.

Any ideas?
