Moment Jeremy Clarkson was 'caught chatting on mobile while doing 70mph' | the Daily Mail

Only if you look at the photo, he hasn't got his belt on, and the scenery looks very un blurred for 70mph.

Looks like he's parked in the services to me!

It looks very bright, so I wouldn't be surprised if the shutter speed was very high, would prevent blur at 70mph quite easily.

He didn't deny though, which is very telling.

oh, i love that the article makes sure they get the "gas guzzling" phrase in.

It does look like the car was parked, but who cares. The picture is not good enough for it to be certain its even him.

If he's on the motorway then he must be on the wrong carriageway as well - there's no way the verge behind him is 4 lanes plus the hard shoulder away...

And he didn't deny it? He *may* have been doorstepped by some gimp from the Mirror or he may not, either way I don't think his response is even relevent, personally.

I'd say he's being stitched up personally.

My girlfriend said "Oh, that's Jeremy Clarkson" and then noticed he was on his mobile," Mr Blake said.

"She grabbed her phone and took a picture of him. We couldn't believe we'd caught him out.
I don't think some chav bint is going to be that aware of the technicalities of camera operation meself

It's highly likely that the photo used in the article isn't the one taken by said bint
It'll be a 'reconstruction' (i.e; fake) put together by the know nothing gimps in the artwork department for illustrative purposes

I don't see the driver's face, or the car's registration number, or any evidence that the car is actually on a road or is moving, or any proof of when and where it was taken.

Why exactly is anyone even bothering to print it?

So the person taking the photo was undertaking as well from the looks of things - if indeed the car was on the motorway.

Jezza will simply get his solicitor mate - Nick Freeman - on the job.

Thames plods are t*ssers for following this up.

I bet if I took a piccie of any ordinary motorist allegedly with a phone to their ear and complained to TVP, it would go straight in the bin and I'd never hear aonther word.
