For those that cant see any issue:
"He says he fell asleep on the beach and woke to find two deep gashes to his *****."
That sounds nasty, but how do you end up asleep on a beach?
"The attack came after the pair went out with a friend for dinner in the resort."
Ok....still not sure how the beach comes into play?
"After Miss Rothery accompanied the friend to a taxi rank, Mr Reed had disappeared so she went back to their hotel. "
Ahhh, he ducked out of view to go sleep on that beach!
"He was sprawled out on the bed in just a pair of shorts that were covered in blood when I walked in," she said."
So he fell asleep, got attacked, ran to the hotel and got there before his mrs who was probably wondering where the hell he had gone!
"He lost a lot of blood. He doesn't appear to have had anything stolen, so it's all pretty baffling. "
It is isnt it!
"But at the moment I'm not asking him or myself too many questions. "
