No injury or damage for me.. yet, fingers crossed. It really is blowing a gale though.

I'm hiding in the house now as I nearly got blown away earlier.

Neighbours greenhouse glass has been blown into our garden (again) The silly sod won't fix it, so each time the wind blows more shards come our way

Apart from that I nearly got blown off my feet when I was walking back from the supermarket today Clearly the bottle of milk I had picked up had made me top heavy

i had to close the carwash down under orders from the area manager, who magically turned up just as i was trying to stop my valeting marquee from taking off LOL

wind was so high, it was hitting the brushes inside the wash and the computer kept thinking that a car had crashed into them and shutting down

Early finish for you then Micky.

The worst for me so far, is my garden chairs have been blown all over the garden. I'm not chasing after them, I'll opt for staying in the warm.

Good mph eh

I went to the motorway services to fill up my car, and had a right job trying to open the door. Went to pay and virtually got blown in through the window

It was bad enough been blown off my feet, but when I was at the hospital today (top of Windy Nook funnily enough), I couldn't see where I was going either as my hair was being blown straight across my face.

Aye, I had that problem too. I couldn't keep it out of my eyes as I was too busy hanging onto my clothes

Its horrible here at the top of the hill in windy Winlaton. Live on a corner house near some fields so we really get blasted. Hubby had a few close shaves in his bus today, single decker but the wind was still causing trouble.

I must say, although my experience has been quite tame, the other half said tonight how he'd been getting blown about in the van today.

I can only imagine it would be scary stuff, as I was sitting in it last night after my work (he needed something fixed, but had to pick me up from work first, long story) and I was quite alarmed by how much it was being blown about, and we were sitting still, and it wasn't quite as windy.
