20th Anniversary!! Wow I'm old.
To be honest, I stopped watching after they had a long break when Craig Charles was arrested for rape (not charged I seem to remember).

*boys from the Dwarf mode on
OH YES
I loved the one last night where they got JFK to shoot himself
Some of the episodes are starting to show their age, and there is no real ending to the whole thing, which is a shame. It would have been nice to actually have a conclusion after so many series.

I have a feeling that we may end up having to accept they will never make it
Its an old show, and not really in a format that would be made today. The props are effects are all really low rent. If they tried to update them it would no doubt flop like the new episodes of Star Wars. If they don't change anything then it is not going to appeal to a mass audience I fear
I'd like to be proven wrong though...
As an aside the Stargate series is having enough problems keeping going. That used to be an amazing show, but they have let that slip badly. The storyline in SG-1 was just heating up when the axed it (yes there is going to be a film, but it will come out so late we will all have forgotten what was going on). Atlantis had fantastic potential, but that has all but been totally wasted away with the current series

Same as Babylon 5, was good up till the Shadow wars, after that point it went down hill.

Best sci-fi ever, and so obviously crippled by the fact that network would not commit to funding the next season before the current one ended. The spin off series was dire though, not sure if you were thinking of that (I forget what it was called).

Nope was thinking of the real B5. Virgin on demand have Series 2 on there at the mo. Had friday off and watch all 11 episodes back to back.
What I described as B5 for me. I really felt it lost the plot after the shadow wars.
Might someday buy "the complete universe" its the entire boxed set of allt he films and tv series, but its £180.

I bought some DVDs of my fav scifi expecting better quality picture and sound. Was little better than a decent torrent

The CGI scenes in B5 on my HD setup really impressed me, sadly they really upset my parents

Er... B5 had 22 epsiodes in each of the 5 main seasons. And TBH it tailed off in season 4 when they thought the 5th season wasn't going to be commissioned so ended the Shadow war in the first couple of episodes. It turned into a bit of a mess after that.
