current account PLUS
had a phone call the other day from HSBC. they are trying to promote their plus account,
saying its great with higher interest rates etc.
and the travel bits.. etc..
however i never travel ... so is it beneficial to me?
is it worth paying £13 a month for it?

I just cancelled my "Plus" service after about 12 years on my account.
I can honestly say I have not used any of the features they offered even once. They were amazed that I wanted to downgrade, and fobbed me off for a couple of days before making me sign a form that confirms I understand I will no longer have access to any of the listed "Benefits".
So I would say a great big NO, don't do it.

Im on a similar Natwest account, £12 a month.
I use the travel insurance for me and the missus every trip, and other insurances they offer.
Seems ok to me, but do your maths first. Unless you keep thousands in there, the interest rate is really no big incentive.
