Default bit Of LEGAL HELP any GURU's Online?

Hi Guys I've left the wonderful world of Subaru for an Audi RS6. Worshipped the Scoob but had twins and what with buggies, bags and babies I needed a bit more space and something a little more robust than my Scoob. I still smile at the flat 4 soundtrack as I here a scoob pass by. But now listening to a V8

anyway I need advice and this is about the best forum for just about everything anyone could ever need an answer on

My problem lies with the RS6 Warranty. This was the crucial factor in my purchase. The warranty had been renewed 2 days prior to me viewing and agreeing to buy the car. The PROBLEM I have is that I assumed (stupidly) that the warranty would transfer with the car as the private seller informed me. Now I have been told I should have filled in a transfer of Warranty within 14 days but didnt do this. I have no warranty claim to make on the car at the moment but wonder if anyone knows a way round my problem

Someone in work saidd fill it in and send it off now saying you were registered as the keeper but have now took over as the owner (bypassing the logbook realted issues) WOULD SOMETHING LIKE THAT WORK? WOULD AUDI laugh and say on your bike

the warranty expires in August his year and I can only renew it if it is currently running. Thus extending it

I know scoobynet has a few legal sharks or salesmen on so please help

thanks in anticipation of replies
