Default 6 months later Monarch finally resolve an issue

After failing to provide the pre payed for extra legroom seats, its taken Monarch Airlines since August to finally refund the money.

Anyone had similar with this or other airlines?

It was probably pilot error although no fuel or a BA coverup can't be ruled out.

Can't say I've had any issues with Monarch, certainly the better of budget airline. Have changed dates, swapped to different names and flights on quite few occasions too.

I've flown with them so much that I've now got "Gold" status on my Vantage loyalty card My carbon footprint is going to be well screwed

lol thats the annoying part, they have always suited me for short haul, this happened to happen on long haul though
They did well to accomodate us, but it was the point of paying for something we didnt get.

Will prob use them again, but not long haul.

Airlines are a bugger if you want to get your money back. My manager booked a return flight to Salt Lake City but for whatever reason the return portion of the flight had not been booked. Took 8 months to claim back cost of flight totalling almost £2k from Air France. Luckily it was on company expenses....

Mrs flew to Sao Paulo with TAP and her bags were left in London for a week. This is well over a year ago, getting on for two years and despite repeated attempts to get some recompense back from them for the additional expense she incurred as a direct result of their incompetence she has had nothing back. Not even an apology.

NEVER fly with TAP.
