How do I book tickets for the London Eye ?

For individual and small group advanced ticket sales and information you can either book directly at the ticket office at County Hall (see below) or call the automated booking system on: 0870 5000 600 (A booking fee of 50p per ticket is applicable. This booking fee is also applied to bookings made at a group discount as well). The telephone system is totally automated using a 'Timed Admissions Booking System' (TABS) for both individual and group visitors, and operates on a daily system throughout the year. You will find you can only book within the maximum of the next 30 day period and a minimum of 7 days in advance of the day and time you have booked.

I just turned up a couple of days before new years day, the queues look bad, but we only had to wait 10 mins to get a ticket, then another 10 to get on. Go to the london aquarium next door and the Dali exhibition too (if you're an arty type). The aquarium is awesome, better than the eye if you're an angler.
