Holiday Travel Expert/Customer rights .. Question
Can someone give me any sound info' re this question/incident please ?
When booking our holiday online with a well known speciality ,abta company, I found that if I wanted a flight upgrade then the cost for the hotel room increased ! Book economy flight and the same room was cheaper !
I contacted the company, complained and got my flight upgrade together with lower room price. But there is nothing in the brochure/web site to give this dual room price info' so are they being rather naughty here ?
To be blunt, am I the customer being cheated ?
When we return in early Feb I am considering if I should take this further.
Any expert advice out there?
Thanks

AFAIK the "price" is an "invitation to treat". It's your starting point for negotiations. You negotiated and got a better price. I don't really see what the problem is. Just because you were able to negotiate a better price doesn't mean they have to offer it to everybody.

Can't see that you're being cheated.
Like if you buy a return train ticket, then find (as is frequently the case) that two singles would have been cheaper. I doubt you'll get anywhere legally.
