M.O.T. Help Needed

Right,i think the wife's lost an MOT certificate.When she bought the car(about 6months ago) im pretty sure they gave us a full ticket,but the only certificate we can find is until 18th Jan 08.Was wondering if anyone knows if or where i can find out if it has a longer MOT?(without phoneing) Many Thanks
