Default Is anybody else working through Christmas?

I am 12 hour nights Christmas eve, Christmas day and Boxing day.

Tried to get out of it, but I'm stuck with it.

If working means drinking.... then yes!

(I know that makes no sense at all)

I havent got my lad this year, so not really an issue, managed to get it off last year though, as he spends alternate Christmas days with me and his mum.

dont worry about it cooky.

as i work in a distributive warehouse, all the "ethnic minority" corners shops stay open over xmas, so i have to work (along with 100s of others) over the period every year as the shops in question are too small to double stock a week before.

working nights, i finish 6am xmas eve morning.
xmas eve night off
xmas day night off
back in boxing day night on single time, (day in leiu used xmas eve night for everyone)
working 27th (thurs night)
off as normal 28th and 29th
working sun 30th until 6am nye
nye night off
back at work 10pm new years day

a total of three ******* days off.

thats why i hate my job so much as its the same every year
