Movie Projector - buy ceiling mount or make one ?
Need a little advice.
Got my new HD projector coming this week for my den and was wondering what the best way to mount it would be.
Is it better to buy in a ceiling mount, or make one up?
Ceiling mount - not very "tall" so Project would need to point down towards its screen, approx 15 deg. Quite epensive too for some of the taller ones, eg. £150+
Self-made bracket - can be made tall so projector more or less pointing straight at screen. More hassle to make obviously.

Dad made his to angle the lens, then found out that the projector would angle itself very well - curiously enough the makers do actually realise that people can't often set them up at eye-level! I think it's called "keystoning".

No, oompa-loompas
I run an elaborate immigration / slave-labour operation and pay Will Wonka back-handers for his vertically challenged (but cheap) workforce.
Here's a pic from my webcam on site at the tiny cramped conditions within which I house them (below) Their smiles mask a world of hurt, their desolation almost tangible. Trajedy really, but on a more positive note, I've just bought a villa in Spain for myself.
