Pet insurance ??
Looking for insurance for my 7 month old border collie, phoned today and got quoted £18 a month / £80 excess which covers you up to 4k a year , thought this sounded pretty expensive but having never actually taken out pet insurance am not sure how prices go ??
anyone advise ?? give any links to cheaper sources of pet insurance ??

Im with Direct Line myself, but loads of them do it now. I think Confused.com has some links on it. We are paying £25 a month for Tuvaaq.
As for the cover, that small amount should cover you for emergency vets bills, people sueing you for the dog biting them, lost and found rewards and help, and even incase the dog is involved in a car accident and causes damage.
Mine also has the extras of emergency kennel cover, purchase price replacement in case of accidental death and other bits and bobs.

For my Cocker Spaniel it was about £14 per month with Tesco's. Unfortunately had to use it in the end with £1000+ Vet bills before he died. and they paid out without any problems.

Sorry to hear that.
Having just lost a baby (at 38 weeks pregnant), if our dog went, we'd fall to pieces. She has been a great healer.
