I want to see Jenson in a good car. It would be nice to know who is actually faster. All this hype for Lewis, but he may not be as good as Jenson

You believe that Button (who has only ever won 1 race in F1) is potentially better than someone who on several occasions this year showed a 2 x World Champion which way the track went? You seriously think that getting yourself 2nd in the World Championship in your rookie season is "hype"?

I'd love to see Button in a good car too (and Davidson) but neither of them would be up there with Hamilton, they'd be scrapping with Heidfeld and the rest in the middle of the top ten.

No one has said that he was not an outstanding driver. No reason at all why he cant still pedal them just as fast at his age either.

AFAIK that was threatened by the giant car manufacturers if, when the Concorde agreement ended (is it next year), F1 wasn't geared to suit them.

It is now, so they won't.

Least thats what I make of it.

I believe Heiki K is all but assured to be in a McLaren next year.

It will be good to see F1 cars without a lot of the electronic gizmos / traction control - proper car control again - which should suit the younger drivers who've come through the lesser formulas in recent years (where they have many fewer gadgets)

I'd like to see all the drivers compete on a level playing field, which is not something that is going to happen soon. I just don't know if Button is faster than Lewis. There are a lot of things that make up a good driver. Hill was really fast round the track, but could not overtake. He won the championship, and beat his teammate when he was in a good car. When Hill was in a poor car, he was often beaten by his teammate.

It it always hard to predict how things will work out, but I would like to see Button and Lewis head to head in the same team
