Did you post the wrong receipt there? I'm guessing that you meant to put a piccy up of the VAT receipt showing the price per litre for thickos like me who can't work the price out

I hardly use the scoob so just put a tiny bit in .. Daily runner is 70 squids to fill up and does about 27mpg got to change it..

Well luckily in this instance you'd be OK with the numeric dyslexia given the price was 1.11

Im not sure whats worse, the fact they charge that or that you paid it I live nr and work in Reading and the Shell in Whitley and Shinfield are selling V-power for 103.9 yesterday.

Prices are normally good.. I didnt even glance at the price as I always use the same garage and its normally less than a quid

This is going to be a real culture shock for me. I'm driving back to the UK (London) for a month over Christmas from Malaga and our fuel prices are also at their highest: €1.05 a litre (about 75p). 6 months ago they'd dropped to the equivilent of 65p, but if we are ever down towards Marbella (normally the Mrs going shopping - an hour's drive away) we can hop over the border to Gibraltar where prices were 65p when I was there a couple of weeks ago! I'd better get saving for the trip. Two things I use most...beer and petrol. Bugger.
