Default Still no sign of the service book for the car.

4 months now.
Just called Motorpoint, who have once told me its not their problem, but are now looking into the matter.
Contacted Liaco, but they refer the matter back to the location I sourced the car from aka Motorpoint.

Not as far as im concerned Motorpoint as the vendor are the once responsible. As the paperwork was signed and sent off from there, NOT Malta.

Oh and how is this for a double whammy....

As the missus is in the motortrade I got her to run an HPI on my car..
Brand new, and no suprises, it came up on finance, as thats how im paying for it. But shock horror...

2 finance agreements NOT one!!
Motorpoint had financed the car to stock it, so if I had bought cash and sold 2 months later, technically HPI would have come up with an outstanding finance warning. 5 month finance agreement.

So I hope they can deal with the issue of the service book quickly.
As not only have they failed to come good on their sales contract with me, selling me a car "technically" currently with no warranty, but sold as described with "3 years manufacturers warranty"
But they have also sold me a "NEW" car, with outstanding finance.

Thats a pain in the **** eh!
I would just like mine full stop lol.

Apparently Motorpoint after sales are gonna call me back on Monday and sort it out.
Otherwise they owe me money for an aftermarket warranty. In which case I will try and find one I can mod with too lol.

The likes of Lewis always advocate going for home grown full history examples - and this sort of proves its never as easy as youd like it to be

They sound like a right slippery bunch to me. I hope they sort it for you eventually but not very impressive so far!

Cheers mate, tell me about it.
If their after sales have not called back by lunchtime I will be on the phone to them.
Nothing by the end of the week, and like the shopkeeper in Mr Ben.... I will suddenly appear in their showroom.
And wont be leaving until I have resolution.

If they opt to pay for a 3rd party warranty (unlikely) I want it in writing

One way or another, they WILL sort this. The paperwork is probably sitting in their showroom somewhere, waiting to be sent off.

Haha thats ace mate, but prob is sitting filed somewhere.
Its all going in writing now, and escalating to an official complaint now. I want their assurances that THEY will settle any warranty repair bills til it shows up.
Otherwise the car has been sold under false pretences, and they can have it back.
