6 points and £200 or something daft.
Its **** like this that people need to start doing serious time for.

Excellent example on Cops on Camera the other night. 4 up in a pick up truck, chased by the Police, shoots one round into a cops shoulder (non fatal)..

Receives about 6-8 gun shot wounds from return fire...

Sentance..... 107 years !
3 people in the truck with him 17-25 years each!

If you choose to take a life, or take one in a wreckless manner.... you should pay with your own. End of.

All this bull we get in this country, with people allowed to continue driving after something like this, and drink driving etc too. Driving is not a right, its an invitation, abuse it, LOSE IT !

The one I've never understood is when they catch someone driving without a license, tax or insurance, they give them a small fine and ban them for 12 or 18 months ??!?!?

Shouldnt the fact they are already driving without a license be a hint that banning them from driving isnt actually going to make any difference as they'll carry on anyway.

Disgraceful, isn't it. Because she phoned the police when she got home, they were more lenient. My God

My sentiments EXACTLY !
I like the ceasing the car bit though, but there should be no option to get it back.

Here frickin here !!
Its shocking how on a good day everyone gets fines, on a bad one, everyone gets points or does time.
Where the hell is the consistancy in that!

Magistrates are a joke as a whole too I have to say. Thats where most dumb punishments are handed out. Crown is usually better but still seems to do some pretty daft things.

Going back to Magistrates, try getting one of them up at 3am to sign a warrant! Phones turned off etc. What happened to wanting to be a responsible citizen!

Ask me to pay £5-10 a week more taxes to go towards building and running a super prison so there IS room and people can start doing the time for their crime, and I will get a second job and pay double !! Hoo-rah! Boot camp time boyyys!
