Picked up a lovely stone chip right in front of me on the windscreen today which apart from being really annoying I reckon would be a MOT failure. Experiences of getting chips mended? Which company? How much ? Results?

If its a bullseye (not long cracks) you could get it fixed free with fully comp insurance no excess or no claims issues. Any of the big names would sort it.

I had one repaired, it was directly in my vision and you could still see the repair if you knew it was there. If it was on the side out of your vision it would of been OK. I wanted them to replace the screen but they refused saying that the insurers always instructed them to repair whenever possible. You might want to ensure it cannot be repaired !
