I need to get some rear surround speaker. I got the Eltax HT-2 Bipolar but they are too large for where they need to go.

Anyone got any recommendations ?? I looked at the Boston Acoustics VRS Micro, and also some Mordaunt Shorts (these were in a set of 4 and they would not split them to 2).

Cheers

DAve

Wall mounts ideally.

I run a Denon AVR1802 amp, Mordaunt Short 905 and 903 at the front.

Mission M70DS or 77DS if you want bipolar rears. My 77ds are mounted upside down as they fit better up near the ceiling.

A mate uses a pair of minipods as rears . Sound good and are very unusual.

Both of use Denon AV3800 amps.

Just as an idea, if you want a full range sound for your rear speakers try Bose AM3's or AM5's or go for an in wall or in ceiling speaker. Do not dismiss in wall and in ceiling speakers as you can get stunning results. I've heard a pair that cost £10k. Sonance would be my recomendation, try their RS1's.

Thumbs up

I got the KEF home cinema KHT2005 system, small but amazingly powerful and clear.

I liked the sound of the KEFs but no-one would sell me just 2, as i have the rest of the speakers.

I went for the Boston Acoustics ones. What Hifi Award Winners so hopefully they will be ok.
