Best place to advertise cherished numbers?
I have been wondering where the best place is to advertise cherished numbers?
A mate of mine used to deal in them, but he has fallen on hard times, and I have the opportunity to buy them off him at cost price....some of the plates (in my opinion) are very good and ought to command decent money, but he doesnt have the time to hold on the them and try and obtain a decent price...
So, Im wondering where is the best place to advertise?
Im not really intersted in discussing the actual plates here, as it will no doubt descend into the usual scoobynet pisstaking of people who want to buy cherished numbers etc etc!!

I ought to add, that he advertsied them previously in Top Marques, but this proved to be costly, and only marginally effective.....
Ebay seems to be a haven for chavvy crappy plates, so it looks a no-no...

Is Exchange & Mart still around, used to have a good section for plates.
Pistonheads is another but has a lot of rubbish too.
Why not try a local car dealer,a few local to me sell them but only the lower end eg £500 jobbies.

i always used to search the web generally. usually all of the dealers advertise so many similar (or same) plates with huge price variations that i don't think it really matters where you advertise. if someone is serious about buying (and they don't compare a cherished number to a dvla £250 special, then they'll call and ask
ps - can you pm me the numbers please? i may be interested
