Thanks eBay
I would just like to write this little letter of thanks to eBay. I would have replied directly to the email they send me, but the reply address failed to work.
Dear eBay
Thank you so much for contacting me to let me know I have been a customer of yours for 5 whole years. I am so glad that you call me a valued customer. The fact that your email contains a massive "push me" button to take my back to my beloved ebay site is all the reward anyone could possibly ask for being a loyal customer for such a long time.
I am dearly glad that you do not partake in spamming advertising emails to my inbox as so many other internet firms do. I shall cherish your personalized thank you message for months to come, and...
(oh bugger, I just binned their mail)

Seeing that I get absoluetly nowhere with them...can you send an e-mail to eBay and their bum-buddies (Paypal) on my behalf. Asking why they allow their site to used en-mass by fraudsters and not do one thing to protect ligitimate buyers and sellers.
Somehow, I don;t think they'll take any notice unless they get 1 billion emails asking this, or if the government/police shuts them down for allowing it to happen.
No, I'm not bitter.

I did actually get a refund from PayPal the other week - someone sold me a fake satnav map DVD, I complained and eventually got my £30 back. Arguably it took them long enough, and at one point they did ask me to get signed proof that it was a fake(!), but they did get me my money back.
