Wanted a Chicken Baguette

Wanted a Chicken Baguette
On my way back to base I wanted a quick bite to eat as I've not eaten all day so called into a local place for a plain and simple Chicken baguette. I asked for "a plain Chicken on a white baguette with nothing on it but butter.
After paying £1.95 and driving back here I opened it up to find this:
What you are looking at is 12" of baguette filled so full with fresh strips of chicken breast that it won't close!
It would have cost me more that £1.95 to have bought that amount of raw chicken breast from Tesco's!
Needless to say I'll be going back there again
And it tastes lovely Mmmmmmmmm
Bob
PS. The pic doesn't do it justice, there is a huge amount of chicken in it!

That is good going.
I work in the town square so theres a few shops to get sarnie or bagwet. The prices and contents vary wildly and just seem such a rip. We've taken to making packed lunches. Cheaper and you can put in those little extras that cost so much in the high street.
Theres also a Poundstretcher that does some foods. They have a tin of chilli and a bag of 2 minute rice for 98p. Fills a dinner plate. Probably not that healthy but fills a hole if you get stuck.
I know Subway is expensive but a footlong Cheese Steak (toasted) with all the salad except olives is my Friday treat to me.

Ikea do a breakfast for 95p, would have been good value I had actually bought one and not bought three hundred quids worth of crap furniture.
And Bob, get some salad on it next time, too much carbs and protien, you need some roughage and vitamins.

How anybody can you go near to Subway is beyond me. The smell of that place makes me cringe, all outlets smell the same, there is one near to where i shop and get within 100 ft of the place and you can smell it.

I went to Greggs a couple of weeks ago to get filled rolls. SWMBO wanted chicken salad, so I asked the Chinese bird behind the counter for just that.
Got home and it was chicken mayo. Wife hates chicken mayo, so no lunch for her
Went last week. Same bird, same order. She asked if I wanted chicken mayo. I said "no, chicken salad", pointing at one of the said chicken salad rolls.
Got home to find she'd given me f$$king chicken mayo
Slept in the spare room that night
