Well for all the MMA / UFC fans out there this is the one we've been waiting for...UFC 75: Champion Vs Champion
IMHO this UFC event has the best fight card ever, and I'm going to be there, ringside(ish !)
Light heavyweight unification bout: Quinton Jackson vs. Dan Henderson
Light heavyweight bout: Matt Hamill vs. Michael Bisping
Heavyweight bout: Mirko "Cro Cop" Filipović vs. Cheick Kongo
Light heavyweight bout: Houston Alexander vs. Alessio Sakara
Welterweight bout: Paul Taylor vs. Marcus Davis
The top three fight are what dreams are made of, I can't make my mind up which is going to be the most exciting. For atmosphere it will definately be the Bisping fight, but I think the Cro Cop vs Kongo fight will be a war.

I will be there too. Not sure how close as didnt buy the tickets but were over £100 so I hope to see at least some action
Im looking forward to Jackson vs Henderson most. I think Bisping will make light work of Hamill tbh.

Can't wait for this, I went to the Manchester show for UFC 70 a few weeks after going to watch Calzaghe/ Manfredo at the Millenium stadium, and as a spectacle and nights entertainment it blew the boxing away and made it look a very amature production.

Cheick Kongo looks mean as hell but haven't been impressed with his fights, the couple I've seen have been quite boring.
Still looking forward to this though, what's all this about Jackson losing his title?

Its good to see Crocop back after the defeat to Gonzaga, its going to be interesting to see how he comes back as i guess the idea is he beats kongo and has a crack at Couture...

It's not going to be on PPV though as far as I can tell, so you ahve to subscribe to setant sports which to subscribe then cancel will cost £30!!
That is not cool at all, I though it was going to be on PPV, £15 which isnt too bad, not going to spend £30 to watch one UFC and two months of bad American sports.

On the Setanta website it says that its £9.99 a month. Is it not posisble to subscribe for a month and then cancel giving one months notice - pay a max of ~£20
Can you watch live via PPV on the internet somewhere???
Really want to see this - can't believe its not PPV!

Pickle, Setanta is £10 joining fee then a minimum of two month subscription at £9.99 a month, so ends up being £30.
I went and joined Setanta anyway, Im guessing their subscriptions have gone up massively thanks to not showing this event on PPV, I just had to see it thou!!
Dont want to watch it on the internet or any other way as I want to sit down with a few beers and watch it from the comfort of the sofa on a decent telly.
I just figured it was worth it for the event, wanted to attend which would have been hundreds overall, so this is the next best thing, and I also enjoy boxing which setanta show quite a bit of so will try get my moneys worth out of the two months.

Looks like you were wrong. For the 3 main fights I had Crocop, Bisping and Henderson to win. Didnt do so well with only one right.
Bisping was lucky to win as very close. He just looked plain nervous and didnt utilise his knees. How he expects to go anywhere in that division with Chuck, Rampage, Henderson etc I have no idea.
Crocop was rubbish although did look tiny against Congo.
I thought Henderson was a more technical fighter if it went to the ground but Rampage looked the more dangerous and deserved the win.
A really good night out. Bisping got an awesome reception although everyone chanting for Randy Couture was pretty special.
Most entertaining fight of the night was 6 rows in front when a girl started doing some moves on her boyfriend. Must have been on something as every 5 mins she was trying elbow him in the head or get a headlock. Shame I only had my phone as was too dark to get a vid for you tube hehe
