"legitimate" firms spamming your email address
Currently I have an online shopping place that is spamming my email address.
1) When signing up they were told I did not want emails
2) They have been asked to stop
3) I've used their own control panel thing to ask them to stop twice
It is against the law to do this, who is the next point of contact? There is some body you have to complain to if I remember correctly. Does anyone remember?

Easyjet are the worst offendors. Yes it is illeagal in the UK and you can claim compensation through the courts for each and every email you get after asking to be removed (after a reasonable period of time allowing them to remove you)
