Birmingham recomendations?
Got a pass to Birmingham this weekend , any suggestions for good/ excellent restaurants/ hotels to overnight in.

I would recommend Bunny's on the hagley Rd for an excellent personal service .
Hotel, i wouldn't know (resident)
Restaurant , Le Plancha in Moseley (traditional Spanish cuisine) again great service great drinks menu and the best cheesecake you will ever try!!

As said, Malmaison /Mailbox ...very good, Very close to all the amenities (City centre /canalside bars/Brindley place /Broad Street etc..
Or theres even the Hyatt?
or poss the Novotel?
even a few 'shady B&B's full of 'dodgy ' Eastern Europeans up on the Hagley Rd if you prefer...
