Red face Things Just Get Cheaper and Cheaper

I'm amazed ....... bought a couple of fine pine bird feeders with perspex sides for 86p each, a couple of Bird Houses in pine for 96p, bar-b-que tools for £1, recliner rocking deckchair for £8:99, nightlite and spare bulb for £1, shirts are £3, suits £25, 7Mpixel Digital Cameras for £135, shorts for £1:25 in TESCO!!

I blame the Government for all these cheap quality goods ..... we should tax them more heavily!! - things are cheaper now than 35 years ago (when I was earning £18 a week!!) - now I am on slightly more everythings cheaper

Strange?????

They seem to get the blame when the Oil Prices go up in the World -

Nah, you have to accept the brilliant things that happen are Labours fault - if you want to lay the blame for the worlds ills at Labours feet ...... have some courage!!

your right lewis kids toys are throw away now, mine have never had to replace tyres on abike when you can get a brand new (crap) mountain bike for 50 quid its hardly worth it, the same thing applies to fence panels if thry are 6.99 and you only need acouple youd be better just binning them every couple of years rather than trating them its mad isnt it

A case in point:-

Bought an Automatic NiteLite from the £ shop - for £1 oddly enough

Went on holiday to Cornwall and the bulb in it went - popped into WadeBridge for a bulb, into an Electrical Shop ........ price = £2:29 Needless to say I told him to stick it

Today, I buy another NiteLite from the £ shop ...... and, amazingly, this one has a SPARE BULB!!!!!

It's all gone mental

Can you live in a bird feeder, heat you're house with a night lite, or pop along to the dentist in you're £1 shorts from Tesco's?

I remember petrol being 18p a gallon!!!!!

I also remember that it was the TORIES who introduced the Petrol Price Escalator!!!

If Labour had not abandonded it petrol would now be £1:67 a Litre - and thats what it would now be if the Tories were still in power ............

Just take a few minutes for that to sink in when complaining ......

Buy the three quid shirt, it doesn't fit, buy the Country Manor wine and it tastes like turps, buy the Orion telly and it lasts a year.

Sometimes you get a bargain but by and large you get what you pay for.

Even decent stuff is cheap these days, quality doesnt really sell these days though, it has to be combined with the right brand name, Ford Mondeo vs BMW 3 series ?
