i have a crv, and at the place of work where i park (parking bay) the other drivers seem to open their doors too wide, and has dented and scratched the long strip on the door

is there anything i can put on it to protect it ( i was hoping for a rubber strip or something but can't find anyone who does anything or similar)

I'd attach a nice, coarse sanding belt along each side. At least you'll know that anyone who slams their doors into yours will come off worse

I have seen big rubber magnetised strips before, where you attach them when you park up and remove them before you drive away. I'm not quite sure how you would stop them from being nicked though. I can't remember where I've seen them though.

mine is an exec (black) so its colour coded part of the door, not like the pic
