Default "Bohemian Rhapsody" moments....

You know the bit on "Wayne's World" when they all start headbanging in the car? Well exactly the same experience can be had with Muse's "Knights of Cydonia" in the final section. :

Are there any others you lot can recommend that I haven't come across yet?

Cool

The Cult - "She Sells Sanctuary"

The start of that tune is brilliant - the single snare 'ffraap' then it all kicks in

I suppose Some Pixies stuff like "Monkey Gone to Heaven" or "Gigantic" and Nirvana's "Smells like Teen Spirit" qualify, but the experience repeats itself in the song - it's not a single orgasmic moment that releases tension built up throughout the piece. Ideally, it ought to happen about three quarters of the way through. What do you think?

Don't bother with the contenders, just list the champions.

You won't like it...

The real champions of 'dropping the bomb' IMO are the rave DJs.

It's true though (good) DJs are mind doctors of the highest order. They can really work a crowd.

have to agree with this post totally. admittedly a dj is mainly playing music by other artists/prodicers, but, and its a big but, its the way the tracks are blended in together, and morphed into one thorough journey, no matter what the style that is being played is.

or so i believe the above to be true. when im kicking out a set, generally theres no planning, or frontal thought, comes from the head and the reaction to my bedroom wall

I can't remember many real Bohemian Rhapsody moments from those years, that's all - which is why I might need my memory refreshing.
