Normally we go on the typical Spain, Greece, Turkey style holidays,
where most days revolve around sunbathing and getting p1ssed in the evenings
whilst dancing badly (me that is )

We've been looking at Mexico and Thailand as we still want somewhere kinda lively in the evenings, with plenty of hot sunshine, but with a more grown up feel to it.
Not tooooo grown up tho

Dont want it to cost an absolute fortune, but i appreciate going further afield is going to cost more

Any ideas anyone, its doing my head in looking and being so indecisive

it wasn't really last minute. we booked it about 6 months before we went out.

we walked pasted the travel agents and saw it in the window. had been up only a few hours. the book price was around £1400-£1500. Realising it was a bargin we booked it there and then. we only went into town to buy a toaster

I would suggest Thailand for something a bit different... certainly for the grown ups anyway.

Not in December / January it didn't ,I got a proper suntan when I was out there and I spent 90% of the holiday 30m underwater. lol

Cuba can be really cheap if you look around. My in-laws went a couple of months back, booked about a month in advance and it was £650-ish for the pair of them.

Barbados, mid priced.... stay near St. Lawrence Gap.... a good few bars, eateries and nice beaches during the day.. book online for furtehr savings (Thompson/Virgin, etc, etc,)
