Why would you want to buy them in bulk?? Babies get bigger quite quickly, so you wouldn't want to buy hundreds at a time, cause they might grow out of them.

Buy the large boxes of them from Tescos ot Safeway.

Or go to makro or some other such warehouse/trade store to get slighly bigger packs, but beware as the poster above is correct.

Specially if they eat like my latest addition, have given up on nappies and am putting him in a sumo wrestlers girdle thingy

Your correct, you can NEVER have enough wet wipes, they're great. Make sure you get good quality ones, as there's nothing like baby **** under your finger nails

Good thinking Fosters. After the continuous wipe purchasing with the first one, I thought the same think. Johnson & Johnson cannot supply anything smaller than a pallet, which is 48 gross which is near enough 7000 packets, at 80 wipes in a packet -> just over half a million wipes. Are you planning to keep them in nappies for more than 200 years? Warehouse sized purchases would be next - so Makro or somewhere like it is probably best. Sainsburys allways have offers on nappies. As long as you dont prefer one brand you can save a small fortune.

ptholt - I think I got one of those as well. Now 10 months old and weighs in at a healthy 31 lbs (same as her 3 yo sister). It isn't really nappies I am looking for. More like an easy clean wheelbarrow

Out little one is 4.5 months old now. She grew out of the Newborn and Mini's pretty quickly. She now on Midi and been in them for a month or so. So, as above, I would hold off buying bulk until they are at this stage (or there abouts). We bought, I think, about 4 packs of the Midi's (56 each) and she is still using them. We are using Pampers Premium which have an elasticated strip, so if you do find you have bought more than you though you would need, you can stretch them to fit

Mine are ages 3 and 1 and wipes are very much still in demand - although when they eat sugar puffs out of the packet or have toast and honey, nothing but a hot flannel shifts that gunk!!!

We've found the tescos purple packet ones on a 2 for 1 offer are the best performance/value at about 1.3p a wipe. Any more than that and it's daylight robbery!

I'm currently thinking this is a very sad thread!

1.3p a wipe - you actually calculated that. You could use a damp cloth and give it a rinse afterwards. (Scrape the big lumps into the bin, cos it takes ages to squash them down the plughole with your finger

I can't believe you guys are talking about nappies!!

But while we're on the subject ...

Not only are wipes a great miniature bottom cleaner, but they also make excellent leather suite cleaners. Jam, Chocolate and my personal favourite... Bob the builder jelly lollies are all easily removable with these cheap and fabric friendly pre-perfumed cloths.

Not only does it clean but it adds moisture into your leather to avoid dryness and promote longer life

I wonder if they will work on the laminate flooring I'm about to lay

McMiata man - they leave smears on the floor, and you should put a good conditioner on your leather furniture after cleaning with wipes. They are also useful for cleaning large bottoms after over indulgance in Guinness/curry/kebab

You can always do like my father did when I was young. One day he was in the supermarket and saw nappies on a cheap deal, so he bought the lot. Everything on the shelf and in the store room out back, took him a couple of trips to get them all home in the car though, and it was an estate.

My sister is due to drop her first little one and we were wondering if there is anywhere you can buy nappies in bulk, off the net of something? There are bound to be people on here with little ones, so any help appreciated...
