When's the next generation diesel Legacy due?
My Legacy has now got huge miles on it but I don't want to replace it until the diesel engined version is released. However, if the diesel version is released let's say a year from now but a completely new model is due in the year after that, I'd prefer to wait for the new model.
So, anyone got any ideas when the next generation Legacy is due? Any links to pics? (I've googled but only found this which seems to be a concept rather than a peek at what the next Legacy will be.

First suabaru diesels due to be in 2008, not sure which models though. There's a quick mention in the current EVO magazine..
p.s. tried calling a dealer yet - they might know!

Thanks WWSD.
The cynical part of me thinks that a dealer isn't going to be entirely up-front with this information if they think that they can shift a car in the meantime....
I have though talked with Pete at Prosport who reckons that the next generation Legacy will move a bit upmarket and be more like an Audi A6 competitor. I'm just interested in when it's likely to be around and what it might look like - if I don't like it, I guess that there may be good deals on the run-out models of the current generation.

^^this^^ in the autocar link above ---->
voila
Of even more interest to European buyers will be Subaru's first in-house diesel. The new flat-four 2.0-litre turbodiesel makes its debut at the Geneva motor show in March, and will then be shown in the first Legacy diesel at Frankfurt in September. Sales kick off in early 2008.
